In Sunday's 3-1 Man U won over Aston Villa, Harry Maguire picking up an ankle injury which made him requested for a substitution.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar solskjaer has confirmed it that center-back Harry Maguire will likely miss the Europa League final.

He said: (via Sky Sports News)

"Hopefully it will be OK with Harry", on Maguire chances of featuring in the final "I don't know. We need to check it.  It might be a few weeks or a month, we don't know yet. It was his calf or lower leg. I think the player on him and he twisted something".

"His fitness is good- He is robust. But, today, it looked like the boy landed on him and he twisted his ankle. Meanwhile, I don't know how serious it is. He might be available on Tuesday, and he might not.

See how he took the injury below:

Maguire went down after a collision with Anwar El Ghazi and immediately looked in real discomfort.

After a few minutes of treatment, he was hobbled back on to the  pitch and attempted to play but unfortunately, he only sit himself down on turf and requested for a substitution. This will be the first time Maguire has not completed 90 minutes for Manchester  United in the premier league.

As noted by Henry Winter,  Maguire was later seen walking to the United's team bus with his foot in a support boot, and this action casting doubt over whether he will feature in United's run-in and the Europa League final on May 26th of this year.
