1. Idowu Philips:



Idowu Philips is popularly known as Mama Rainbow, she's a veteran Nigerian actress who was born on 16th October at Ijebu-ode a city in Ogun State. 

Iya Rainbow worked as a healthcare assistance in general hospitals for several years in Nigeria, before she occasionally acted in theatre and later ventured into full time acting, after the death of her husband. Mama Rainbow has featured in a lot of Nigerian films including Apaadi, Aje ni Iya mi, Ogidan, Orita Ipinya, Okun Ife, among others.

2. Ayo Adesanya:



Ayo Adesanya is also a Nigerian film actress, producer and a director, she hailed from Ogun State. Although, she appears in both Yoruba and English movies but mostly appears in Yoruba film.

Ayo Adesanya began her acting career in 1986, after she completed the National Youth Service scheme. Her first appearance on television was on Tunji Bamishigbin's soap Opera titled "Palace". She later joined the Yoruba language film industry, where she featured, directed and produced several films. 

3. Ronke Odusanya:


Ronke Odusanya was born in Ogun State, she began her professional acting career at 16years old, after her graduation.

 Ronke Odusanya made her nollywood debut featured in 2001 Yoruba film named "Baba Ologba" she was also named "Flacky Ididowo" in her role in Fathia Balogun's movie as Folake in the year 2006. Ronke has featured in several films including "Jenifa" which she played the role of Becky. 

She was nominated for the best actress in leading role (Yoruba) at the 2011 Best of nollywood award for her role in the film "Ailatunse".

4. Idiat Shobande:


 Idiat Shobande is a Nigerian actress who acts in Yoruba language films, who was born to a family in Ogun State. She joined nollywood sub-industry in 1995 and has been featured in several Yoruba films since then, which included Iyawo saraa, Igbeyin Ewuro, Abode mecca and many others. 

 In the year 2010, Idiat played the titled character in "Aramotu". The film that portrayed Yoruba women as making major impact in an ancient society, which made her earned Africa movie academy award for best actress in leading role nomination, although, she eventually lost the award to Ama Abebrese.

5. Eniola Badmus:



Eniola Badmus is a veteran Nigerian actress who was born in Lagos but had her basic and secondary education in Ijebu-ode.

Eniola who started her career in acting as a professional in the year 2000 until 2008 when she shot to recognition upon starring in two unforgettable Yoruba films titled "Jenifa and Omo Ghetto", both movies are instrumental to her rise and the Nigeria entertainment industry, which has since her star as both leading and supporting actress in several Yoruba and English films. She was unveiled as a brand ambassador for Telecom company (etisalat) in 2016.
